Integrated Mobile Environmental Awareness Network (IMEAP)
Integrated Mobile Environmental Awareness Network (IMEAP) is a CLEAN-GHANA Environmental Initiative tailored for Ghana communities in order to reduce the ignorance, help change the negative attitude and wrong perception, IMEAP seeks to create environmental awareness especially among school kids and the youth of the selected school communities in the targeted area. IMEAP seeks to raise Environmental Awareness through CLEAN-Environmental Clubs (CLEAN-Clubs) in selected communities in Ghana to positively influence the behavior and perceptions of the youth towards the environment
The Mobile Environmental Project which has the formation of the CLEAN-clubs as part subsequently has a primary aim in the selected communities;
To raise youth awareness on environmental issues
To sensitize students, the youth and the general public about the need to make hygiene a priority in their households and surroundings
To motivate, encourage and challenge students and the youth to provide support for environmental protection.
To positively influence their behaviour and perception toward the environment
To bring cleanliness, beautification and sanity into educational institutions and communities through clean-up, tree planting and other landscaping exercises.
Target Group:
The primary target group consists of Ghanaian school pupils and students and the youth in general (between the ages of 8-17). That is;

Secondary Schools
Main Activity Includes;
Organisation of Training Workshops for Youth Leaders and Trainers
Conducting massive Environmental Awareness Campaign in the Selected School Communities (SSC). This would lead to the planting of 32,000 (4,000 trees/district) Seedlings in the SSC by the CLEAN-Clubs and the Youth in the Local communities to help fight of desertification, soil erosion and climate change
Formation of Environmental Clubs in the Schools
Preparation and launching of Interactive Multimedia for Communication on Environmental and Personal Hygiene which will eventually culminate in the distribution of 2000 CDs and Kids-friendly brochure
